That verse describes the first church: believers together daily, sharing what they had, devoted to one another. Two42 carries that devotion into the work of our hands — a home where the people who make the church's music find each other, create together, and finish what God put in them to make.
A worship leader in Lagos writes a bridge no one will ever hear. A producer in Nashville has a hard drive full of half-finished songs and no vocalist to call. A songwriter walks away from the industry because the deals felt wrong, the credits went missing, and the money moved in the dark. The church is full of gifted makers — and most of them are making alone.
And the industry built around them has a trust problem — one its own artists describe from the inside: contracts that take control of a person's name, brand, and masters; people treated as product and discarded when they cost more than they earn; the gloss of a holier-than-thou image over business that looks exactly like the world's. Opaque royalties. Fame engineered instead of fruit grown. It doesn't have to be that way.
There's a quieter wound too: makers are told every song must preach on schedule — as if a Christian may sing about God or about nothing. But open the Bible and it sings history, poetry, lament, longing, and love — the Psalms hold more honest struggle than most radio playlists would ever allow. If Scripture itself carries that breadth, the church's music can too.
Two42 is where Christian songwriters, producers, vocalists, and engineers across the world find each other and make real music together — studios for the work, a global map of the fellowship, prayer woven through everything, and mentorship from people who've walked the road.
We believe the gospel deserves new songs — told plainly and beautifully, through everyday struggles and Monday faith, not just Sunday morning. Songs about doubt and provision and waiting and joy. When brothers and sisters from different nations and denominations write together, the church hears something it couldn't have sung alone.
And no one here needs a gatekeeper's permission. You keep your name, your masters, and your voice — build your audience, keep your identity, and let the fruit speak. The fellowship is the label now.

Your masters are yours — full stop. Credits and splits are set in the open, on the song, where everyone can see them. When distribution comes, your streaming royalties are yours unless you choose to give — the Light Fund lets any artist dedicate a share of a song's proceeds to the mission, and shows you what that gift could fund before you commit.
And one commitment underneath all of it: we will never use the gospel as a sales lever. No engineered altar moments that end at a merch table, no message deployed to hit a number. Giving here is opt-in, transparent, and always the artist's choice.
Two42 is pursuing 501(c)(3) nonprofit status so the Fund is held in trust for the mission — not for us. Transparency isn't a feature here. It's the point.
